FileDrop is a cool software to easily transfer any kind of file to any computer in LAN. It has a simple and attracting user-interface which in addition to looking good also seems easy to understand. You just have to drag-and-drop files you want to transfer.

You can even transfer files to computers running different operating systems,for example files can be transferred from a Mac to a windows PC, its just that both have to install FileDrop in them and should be connected in LAN. (FileDrop is also available for Mac)
