Registration on the Compzets web page is optional and voluntary. We use the information you provide to:

  1. Allow Authors to access the information they need in order to publish their work
  2. Allow Compzets to send service email notifications or promotional messages about new publications released
  3. Administer your account and customize the service we provide to you and other users
  4. Provide your personal details to third parties offering combined services with Compzets, enabling you to share your information and communicate with other users

For the purposes above we may collect the following information:

  1. Username, Referral, Name, Websites
  2. Contact information in the form of email address, postal address, country of residence
  3. Other information may include facebook link,twitter link etc.

3. Additional Information Collected

In order to deliver a better service, Compzets tracks patterns of use on this site. We note which links are clicked to determine what areas, articles and chapters are of most interest to our visitors. Like all websites, we automatically receive from the Internet usage information such as your IP address, the URLs of sites from which you arrive or leave the Compzets website, your type of browser, your operating system, your mobile provider, your mobile device and your ISP.   3. You can delete or close your Compzets account at any time. If you no longer desire our services you can delete your account from your dashboard at security section.

Compzets does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties, unless we have your permission or are required by law so as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process. Please note that in order to deliver certain services (for example, Article/Chapter publication), we may share information with third parties. To process payments made by you, we share some of your information with the payment processing company we use. While you are entitled to decline to provide the information requested, this may prevent us from providing the services requested. In the case of delivery of hard copies of books to authors or other parties ordering such publications, we share with third parties conducting postal delivery services the information required in order to carry out the delivery.

6. E-mail Policy

Compzets may send you service communications by email. If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for email/newsletter services, Compzets may send information which you might find of interest. You may change your mind and unsubscribe at any time by emailing us at [email protected].

7. Customer Testimonials / Comments / Reviews

In the "Software Description" pages of our website we post customer testimonials/comments/reviews which may contain personally identifiable information. These testimonials are stored on a database held within Compzets. Prior to posting a testimonial, we obtain the customer's consent via email to posting his or her name along with the testimonial.

13. Private Policy and Authors

The summary of Authors' personal information (Username, Facebook link, Twitter Link) are made publicly accessible on Compzets's web site but not email addresses. Other personal and contact information will be publicly available to registered users only with prior authorization. Compzets will not send authors unsolicited e-mail messages unless it directly concerns their published work.

14. Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services then you can either delete your account from your dashboard or contact us at [email protected].  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements .

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
